Work

Well, I sucked it up and got a job where I designed t-shirt logos for a heat transfer company.  That job was fun!  We had a softball team, we went to happy hour every Friday and everyone became friends.  The only major drawback was that there were no benefits, so eventually I had to leave.  I decided to take time off from work and go on some vacations.  I went to Florida and Vermont and at that point I just couldn’t see myself going back into the workplace.  My mom and dad laid down the law and told me that if I didn’t work I couldn’t afford the “lifestyle I wanted”.  That gave me the jolt I needed!  I got a job for a legal trade publication as the advertising assistant and then moved up to account manager where I remain to this day as supervisor of sales.
